8.0 Fix Installation Install the fix using the Software AG Update Manager or Command Central. For instructions on using Update Manager, see "Using the Software AG Update Manager." For instructions on using Command Central, see the Command Central help. Both are available at http://documentation.softwareag.com. If you are using Command Central, Update Manager is located in the same directory as the products. Follow the steps below. 1 Manually shut down all running products in the product directory that are not managed by Command Central. Keep the Platform Manager in the product directory running. 2 Install Software AG Java Package 1.8 Fix 7 in the product directory. 3 Start the products. If you are using Update Manager, Update Manager is located in a different directory (e.g. C:\SoftwareAGSUM) than the product directory (e.g. C:\SoftwareAG). Follow the steps below. 1 Install a second Update Manager in a new directory (e.g. C:\SoftwareAGSUM2). 2 Use the second Update Manager (e.g. from "C:\SoftwareAGSUM2") to install Software AG Java Package 1.8 Fix 7 in the first Update Manager directory (e.g. C:\SoftwareAGSUM). 3 Uninstall the second Update Manager (e.g. in "C:\SoftwareAGSUM2"). 4 Shut down all running products in the product directory (e.g. "C:\SoftwareAG"). 5 Use the first Update Manager (e.g. in "C:\SoftwareAGSUM") to install Software AG Java Package 1.8 Fix 7 in the product directory (e.g. "C:\SoftwareAG"). 6 Start the products.
